…and not a Fiat?

Haha, no I’m not talking about cars. I’m talking about you and me. Have you heard of this song? (click on the subtitles icon for lyrics. That’s main!)
Such a beautiful rendition of an amazing song? ain’t it?
Now, what is the story conveyed by the song? It talks about a man who is passing through the world, as a stranger, as someone who belongs elsewhere, whose home is at a different land than what he is walking through at that moment.
Isn’t that what Bible says about those who belong to Christ?
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;
For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”
For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. ...
John 15:18,19
“If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.”
All those who believe in Christ are a new creation! Salvation makes us into a new creature, a stranger in this World. We’d be considered and called ‘Weird’ by those who do not know/believe in Christ. But take heart! We are not meant to be comfortable here. We are wayfaring strangers here in this World, remember? Just like how you’d be a stranger in Mars

(if Mars had life, anyways).
We belong elsewhere. A place we are yet to get to.

Alright, now that we understand our position in Christ here on the Earth, let us understand our responsibility here.
